Our adventure is set at the incredible Terzo di Danciano, a restored 16th century villa overlooking the border between Umbria and Tuscany near the beautiful city of Cortona. The home is located in a stunning rural setting complete with spacious indoor and outdoor common areas, a picturesque spa, pool, and charming accommodations. Fully engage your senses as you savor delicious meals, bask in self-care, participate in grounding movement & breath practices, and enjoy the kinship of mindful community. 

Included:

• Pre-retreat gatherings via Zoom and in person (for local folks) to meet beforehand
• Arrival and departing transportation between the retreat center and the Florence Airport
• Accommodations at Terzo di Danciano for 7 nights, 8 days
• Locally sourced Italian meals, including a rich international breakfast, a buffet lunch, and a seated dinner served daily onsite at the retreat center (vegetarian/vegan options available)

Options for double and triple occupancy at this time. Pay in full pricing reflects a $200 discount. Pay in full options pay a $500 non refundable deposit and receive an invoice for the remaining balance due within 7 days of receipt of said invoice. Monthly payment plans have an initial non refundable deposit of $500 at time of booking with calculations of monthly payments and date of payment being determined shortly after time of booking.

The retreat center has free Wi-Fi. Yoga props are provided onsite and include mats, blankets, blocks, straps, bolsters, etc. Full details of the rooms are below.

Optional Onsite Services:

• Thai bodywork, Reiki, and tarot offered by the Retreat Facilitators for an additional fee (sign-ups available two weeks prior to the retreat)
• The retreat center can also coordinate massage services at the spa for an additional fee (to be booked onsite at the retreat venue upon arrival)

The retreat does NOT include airfare, red and white wine available for purchase at the retreat center, meals outside of what is prepared at the retreat center, optional onsite services (Thai bodywork, reiki, tarot, massage), additional excursions you may plan, and incidentals.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATIONS 

The main house of Terzo di Danciano is a magnificent 16th century construction renovated to preserve the unique character and vibrancy of the floors, stairs, plasterwork, paint, and vaults.. The names of each of the master bedrooms make a reference to elements of classical Italian theater. San Carlo in honor of the most important theater of this tradition in Naples, Platea Verde (Green Platea), Orchestra Rossa (Red Orchestra), Orchestra Rosa (Pink Orchestra), Le Quinte (The Wings), Sipario Bianco (White Curtain), Loggione (Gallery), and Piccionaia (Loft Gallery).

All rooms have breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside with the exception of the ground floor accommodations that naturally have a somewhat more limited horizon.

SAN CARLO (SOLD OUT) – Located on the ground floor, this bedroom was an ancient wash-house. Includes a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. NOTE: The double occupancy option for this room is a shared bed. If you are not traveling with a friend/partner who also plans to book the room at double occupancy, please choose the single occupancy option. Max occupancy: 2 people.

PLATEA VERDE (Green Platea) (SOLD OUT) – Located on the first floor, Terzo has evidence that this large bedroom was used as a room for pilgrims and those in need of care in the 17th century. The room includes a large niche painted in blue that may have once housed a statue of the Madonna. Both the colors of the niche and those of the walls have been restored with authentic to the original earth pigments. Includes two king beds and ensuite bathroom. Max occupancy: 2 people.

ORCHESTRA ROSSA (Red Orchestra) (SOLD OUT) – Located on the first floor, this small single room has a beautiful view of the garden. The door to the room on one side has the "Cacciata dei diavoli da Arezzo" and the "vision of the seats in Paradise" on the other, both taken from the cycle on the life of St. Francis located in Assisi. The room includes a single bed. Orchestra Rossa (Red Orchestra) and Orchestra Rosa (Pink Orchestra) share a large bathroom. Max occupancy: 1 person.

ORCHESTRA ROSA (Pink Orchestra) (SOLD OUT) – Located on the first floor, this room was once the main kitchen of the house, complete with a huge fireplace of the early 19th century made of pietra serena. The original pink color of the walls in this bedroom has been restored with an ancient plaster mix made with lyme, sand, and earth. The room is offered at double occupancy and includes two single beds. Orchestra Rossa (Red Orchestra) and Orchestra Rosa (Pink Orchestra) share a large bathroom. Max occupancy: 2 people.

LE QUINTE (The Wings)  ONE SPACE LEFT IN THIS ROOM – Located on the second floor, this self-contained flat includes a living area and a kitchenette. The flat has been restored entirely with an ancient plaster mix made with lyme, sand, and earth. The ceiling is covered in the original cannicciato (bamboo/ reed ) style. Offered at double occupancy and includes two beds plus an ensuite bath. Max occupancy: 2 people.

SIPARIO BIANCO (White Curtain) SOLD OUT – Located on the second floor, this beautiful large bedroom is in the style of the early 18th century. Wall stencils depict delicate flowers and linear decorations evoke a kind of wallpaper, with a layer of copper oxide and beeswax to compliment the decor. Offered at triple occupancy and includes three beds and an ensuite bath. Max occupancy: 3 people.
